IPC quality standards and training
IPC is a United States-based global trade association which produces the world’s most widely used quality standards for electronics production.
Scanditron offers specialist and trainer training and IPC Certification in IPC A-610 Acceptability requirements for electronic assemblies, J-STD-001 Requirements for soldered electrical and electronic assemblies and IPC 7711/7721 Rework, modification and repair of electronic assemblies.

IPC-A-610 is the most widely used electronics assembly standard in the world. IPC-A-610 illustrates industry-accepted workmanship criteria for electronics assemblies through full-color photographs and illustrations. Topics include lead free, component orientation and soldering criteria for through-hole, SMT and discrete wiring assemblies, mechanical assembly, cleaning, marking, coating, and laminate requirements.
IPC A-610 is used together with the soldering material and process standard IPC J-STD-001.
J-STD-001 is world-recognized as the sole industry-consensus standard covering soldering materials and processes.
As an IPC official certification centre, Scanditron offers both CIT (Certified IPC Trainer) and CIS (Certified IPC Specialist) training in IPC A-610, IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-7711/7721. For more information please see
